A new free career development course starts on 19 September in Egham. If you're aged 45 years or older and considering transitioning into a new career, or you know you're under-employed and want a better job, then this is the programme for you.
The course is free for people who live in Runnymede. It is run by Room for Work, an award winning organisation that specialises in improving employment for older people.
Here are some comments from participants on the first course run in Egham earlier this year:
- "Thanks again for running this extremely helpful, inclusive and supportive course."
- “I am happy to tell you that I started a permanent job in April where I am still very happy. The course had lots of useful tips and the mentors were helpful. I will definitely recommend the course to anyone out of work and will keep an eye on your socials to see what you are doing”.
- "I also really appreciated the guidance shared outside the core sessions, and for the individual 1:1 advice shared by you all.”
The courses is supported by the Government`s Shared Prosperity Funding
Places will be in high demand, so register now.
