We are thrilled to announce the return of the awards for 2025. The awards celebrate the best of businesses in Runnymede and will raise the profile of our borough as one of the pre-eminent places in the UK for businesses. The awards will be launched at the North Surrey Business Growth Event at Royal Holloway University of London. There will also be an opportunity to meet the team at Business Surrey and find out how you can access free support to help grow your business.

Almost 200 secondary school pupils had a taste of working life and how businesses operate as part of the new Runnymede Open Doors Programme.

A statement from the Co-Leaders of Runnymede Borough Council said:

“We are keen to unlock the potential in the young people across our borough through opportunities such as this. It’s fantastic that the businesses in our community are investing in our future workforce by providing them with first-hand experience and insight into what the working world could look like for them.

The programme has been delivered by the Surrey Careers Hub with funding from the Government’s UK Shared Prosperity Fund.”

This Surrey Chamber of Commerce Business Breakfast is a wonderful opportunity to meet a range of Surrey businesses over a delicious breakfast. A keynote speaker will provide an overview of cyber crime threats, and provide practical steps and signposting to making organisations more cyber secure.
